Challenges:

Our client was majorly facing different layers of challenges and complications for Oracle EBS implementation.

Marketing Product Hierarchy

Challenge: The client lacked maintenance of any structured hierarchy for their energy products which was leading to incorrect items being displayed and thus resulting in the users making wrong selection.

Solution: Our team helped the client build a process through which all products were arranged in a scientific and structured manner thereby providing maximum information to customers and users.

Stock Availability

Challenge: The client was unable to receive the accurate stock in hand and stock in transit information at the time of ordering which resulted in duplicating procurement of the items on demand generation.

Solution: We helped the client in providing all stock information in an orderly manner and available at any given time. This intuitive and collaborative solution ensured synchronization with suppliers and consumers thus creating a demand to increase stock availability and boost sales.

Business value:

The EAM implementation enhanced our client’s business in the following ways.

  • The Oracle payments module which behaves as a central payment engine for Oracle E-Business Suite improved control by integrating out-of-the-box methodology with major processors and financial institutions for our client.

  • The client could now explore the deployment of an inbuilt module of Oracle iPayment to immediately address concerns and improve the effectiveness of their payment systems. It integrates ecommerce application with client server application.

  • The iPayment assisted in a speedy completion of transaction cycle since information transfer between parties is electronic the transactions executed were fast and reliable. This also resulted in a significant reduction of the overall payment processing time, efforts and costs.

  • A significant reduction in credit risk since the credit card transaction is immediately validated and high-risk transactions are identified quickly. Its inbuilt security features mitigate the risk of fraudulent transactions.

  • The ipayment system was put in place as an online complete payment and receipt processing solution that enabled efficient, reliable and secure financial transactions on the web.
