Apr 17, 2008

ImproCorp is one of the esteemed customers of HIPL since year 2001. We have developed custom made ERP solution for one of our esteemed customer after doing extensive study, designing. The ERP solution developed has Purchase, Sales and Promotion, ecommerce, PayPal integration, Inventory and Warehouse modules. This solution is tightly integrated with Microsoft Great Plains. The whole system is mainly Cold Fusion and MS SQL Server based.

Since 2001 we have given IT service and support and developed more than 50 major projects consisting of B2B and B2C, ERP Modules related to Purchase, sales, Inventory, Warehouse for the different global locations of the organization. Apart from the ERP system below is the list of few of the site developed under the flag of HIPL for the same client.

SAGE Architecture
A new architecture has been introduced for ImproCorp Projects i.e. SAGE Architecture. It is completely MVC based Architecture i.e.

Model: The domain-specific representation of the information on which the application operates. Domain logic adds meaning to raw data (e.g., calculating if today is the user's birthday, or the totals, taxes, and shipping charges for shopping cart items).

Many applications use a persistent storage mechanism (such as a database) to store data. MVC does not specifically mention the data access layer because it is understood to be underneath or encapsulated by the Model.

View: Renders the model into a form suitable for interaction, typically a user interface element. Multiple views can exist for a single model for different purposes.

Controller: Processes and responds to events, typically user actions, and may invoke changes on the model.

The complexity of the development is that all sites have different business logics (like warehouse, sales, Purchase etc) but are running through one common interface. System reviewed a number of programming technologies before concluding that Adobe ColdFusion, MS SQL Server and Great Plains Dynamics v6 offered the most benefits.

The project also involves the technologies like Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, XML along with Web Services.
